Coaches’ Practices on RPMS-PPST as Correlates of Teachers’performance and Morale: Bases for A Proposed E- Coaching Enhancement Program

ABSTRACT
The study aimed to determine and analyze the Coaches’ practices on the Results-Based Performance Management System for Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers and their correlation to teachers’ morale and performance in selected public schools in the Division of Antipolo and Rizal during the School year 2020-2021 bases for a proposed E-Coaching Enhancement Program. The demand for School Heads as educational leaders and coaches to demonstrate coaching supervision through a feedback mechanism is highly significant in the delivery of educational services. There were a total of 588 respondents, 40 School Heads, and 548 Teachers used in the study. The study utilized the quantitative research design to describe the study in detail. To determine the extent of school coaches’ practices and teachers’ morale as perceived by school heads and teachers, mean, and standard deviation were used. To determine the significant difference between coaches’ practices and teachers’ morals used by school managers, mean and standard deviation were used. To determine the significant difference on the perception of two-group respondents, an Independent Sample T-Test was utilized.To determine the significant correlation of Teachers’ performance rating to Teachers’ Morale and Coaches’ Practices correlation coefficient/Pearson r was used. It was found out that There is no significant difference between the perceptions of the two groups of respondents on the extent of RPMS-PPST Coaching practices and level of teachers‘ morale and there is no significant correlation between the extent of RPMS-PPST coaches‘ practices and the level of teachers‘ morale on the four processes of coaching and There is no significant correlation between the RPMS-PPST coaches‘ practices and the teachers‘ performance. Based on the findings, the following conclusions were drawn, a high extent of coaches‘ practices was manifested by the teachers and the coach respondents as regards the five domains of the RPMS-PPST and teachers‘ morale as regards the processes on the RPMS-PPST. Moreover, teachers performed their job very well and coaches‘ practices did not directly affect the teacher‘s performance.
