ABSTRACT

This study assessed the implementation and beneficiaries’ satisfaction with disaster relief shelter services provided by the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) in Region XI. Using descriptive-comparative and correlational design, the research analyzed demographic variables and evaluated the correlation between service implementation and satisfaction. Results showed that DHSUD’s services were “highly implemented” and beneficiaries were “highly satisfied.” A strong positive correlation (r = 0.701, p < 0.05) existed between implementation quality and satisfaction. Based on the findings, an “Optimizing Project Delivery” intervention plan was proposed to address gaps in service delivery, enhance satisfaction, and support inclusive shelter programs tailored to diverse community needs.
