ABSTRACT

This study investigates learners’ attitudes and study habits in Mathematics at St. Anthony’s College, San Jose, Antique, Philippines, during the School Year 2023-2024. Specifically, it examines how demographic factors such as age, sex, family monthly income, mother’s educational attainment, and grade level influence these attitudes and habits. Employing a descriptive-correlational research design, the study explores the relationship between learners’ attitudes and study habits and utilizes the findings to propose a remediation program. Results indicate that learners exhibit slightly positive to positive attitudes toward Mathematics and moderate effectiveness in study habits. The study underscores the need for tailored interventions to enhance student engagement, foster positive attitudes, and promote effective study practices in Mathematics.
